THE RACE
We are excited to bring to you the Southport Seaside 10k, now under new management. The course starts on the road just outside the Pleasureland, passes through the Pleasureland on the route before heading along Marine Drive for an out and back with views of the seafront and Southport Pier.
This is an extremely fast, flat course that boasts real PB potential, whilst being accessible to beginners to run on a flat partially closed road circuit.
THE ROUTE
This flat and fast 10k course takes runners along the promenade in the seaside town of Southport. Run partially on closed roads and partially on tarmac footpaths, runners will complete an out and back along Marina drive before finishing in Princes Park.
The route will start from the Southport Pleasureland amusement park, passing through the park at the halfway point and heading along Marine Drive to finish in Princes Park. Throughout your run, you’ll be able to enjoy ocean views and get a glimpse of the iconic Southport Pier.
